production
After the calculation of the supply level and the wanted amount final
products the moment is arrived to check the production time
as a
fact on his own. This will always be an average time, even if it is most
secure calculated, because the partial processes as glueing, painting,
drying etc. taking a different time-interval. The calculation of this time
can be done only with experience about these processes before. Although,
there is a formulae based on industrial experience, in which these processes
must be calculated in the total production time of ONE product. Again some
notice for the difference between manufacturing final products or parts
of a product, in which case the separated times must be counted together
to get the total production time of ONE product. Also contains the formulae
the analog
rendement, supposed to be expressed by a number between
0
and 1. There are different kind of rendements , all the result of
a dividing with actual (operational) by maximal (theoretic), for example;
-
RENDEMENT PERSONALCAPACITY= APPLIED manpower on the job divided
by CALCULATED manpower (accounted before the job started)
-
RENDEMENT MACHINECAPACITY= REAL machine-productiontime divided
by CALCULATED machine-hours
-
RENDEMENT PRODUCTION= real AMOUNT produced goods divided by calculation
of the amount products
In this way it is possible to get a total overview of rendements in your
whole company, simply by dividing different factors!!The resultnumbers
are moving in a range between 0 and 1 , with 1 as full rendement. If the
result is fractional, then the value 0,875 is a better score as 0,65. If
this value is more than 1, then there is an overcapacity, which means that
the planning can be better. This kind of scaling is very similar at the
priority number treated in the next paragraph supply control.
The formulae for the average PRODUCTION TIME is presented as follow:
N = Amount of wanted final products |
T = TIME in minutes of the production of ONE final product |
R = PRODUCTION RENDEMENT |
Y = AVERAGE production time of the total production |
formulae : Y = N * ( T / 60 * R ) calculation symbols same as
formulae product sortie |
for example: With a wanted amount of 3000 ex final products, where every
product takes 15 minutes for manufacturing, and a product sortie of 5%
, will the total average production time be calculated as follow:
60 * 0,95 = 57 |
15 / 57 = 0,26315 |
0,26315 * 3000 = 789,47 |
